DVD: “Michael Lucas’ The Bigger The Better”

Given the recent legal brouhaha regarding his pornified update of "La Dolce Vita", you'd have thought that Michael Lucas could have come up with an original title for his latest big dick extravaganza instead of ~~ripping it off~~ borrowing it from one of the most popular and best-selling gay porn titles of all time. Still, there's not much risk in confusing "Michael Lucas' The Bigger The Better" with the dearly departed Matt Sterling's classic 1984 feature of the same name: where Sterling's film has earned its staying power over the years through a series of truly hot and memorable fantasy scenarios, Lucas' "TBTB" ends up being fairly standard porn fare featuring a handful of decent if not especially memorable scenes, maybe because they look like they were all shot in the same apartment. But the several yards of monster cock on display (including a welcome return to the blue screen by 90s porn legend Johnny Hanson) will still go a long way towards satisfying even the most voracious size queens out there—even if we have to admit that it's the adorably scraggly new chinstrap beard sported by Fleshbot Crush Object™ and new Loehmann's model Ben Andrews that really left us wanting more. It's almost cute enough to make us forget to drool over his beefed-up bod and that slab of meat hanging between his legs. Almost.
