Photos By Luke Stephenson: Morning Glory

Ah, mornings: is there anything like that rush of expectancy and hopefulness with which so many of us bound out of bed as the first rays of sunlight shine through our windows with the promise of a glorious new day? Given the fact that we're lucky if we manage to roll out of the sack before noon every day we guess we'll have to experience the moment via London-based photographer Luke Stephenson's "Morning Glory" series of (self?) portraits that capture the essence of those most eager of daily phenomena. Since Stephenson is a Serious Photographer whose work has appeared in places like the New York Times and the British Journal of Photography we're thinking his primary reason for taking this photos isn't to tittilate, but to artistically demonstrate how the early bird does indeed capture the, er, worm. In the meantime, we can't help but ask: is that a giant bulge in your Calvins or are you just really having to take a wicked piss right now?
