AMG Theatre Classics: “Billy Boy”

If the four short films in the first volume of Athletic Model Guild's new Theatre Classics series of rediscovered classic porn loops were the appetizers, "Billy Boy" is definitely the main course. Clocking in at over an hour long, it's the longest film to be rediscovered since AMG founder Bob Mizer's death and is likely one of the longest ones he ever produced. It may be a sexy anomaly in Mizer's ouevre, but its plot is about as familiar as porn itself: it's the story of what happens when a bright-eyed young man from the Midwest comes to Hollywood to seek fame and fortune. Would it be spoiling the outcome if we told you that he ends up taking his clothes off at some point along the way?
