Madd, Badd, And Dangerous To Know: Big City Video’s “Madd Dawgz”

You gotta give it to the casting agents at Big City Video: they know how to round up some hotties --hotties, we might add, who pack serious street fair sausage. The Big City copywriters, on the other hand? Totally phoning it in.

Take a look at the company's latest release, "Madd Dawgz". Ignore the artistic license BCV has taken with spelling (a habit upon which we typically frown) and the perplexing use of wolves (technically neither dogs nor dawgs) in the background and flip to the back. Note the half-hearted attempt to spice things up with sexy hound-themed puns--four to be exact. We're talking about America's favorite domesticated quadruped, and all they can come up with is four lousy puns?

We see that as a challenge (but then, unlike Dr. Johnson we think puns are totally hot.) Here are a few choice kibbles and bits BCV's layabout copywriters missed:

· Salty dawg!
· Bull dawg!
· Dawg pound!
· Top dawg!
· Dawg catcher! (paired with the "Top Dawg", natch)
· Man's best friend!
· Dawg treatz!
· Bad muthafuckin dawg!
