We Don’t Want To Do Their “Dirty Work”

Everyone knows that porn loves a pun, and to prove it we conducted an Unofficial Fleshbot Survey this morning. Turns out 19 of 20 new-release titles that caught our eyes were puns of one kind or another, mostly riffs on popular movie titles or TV shows or common American catchphrases. "The Porne Ultimatum", "The Bone Ultimatum", "Don't Ask, Don't Tell, Don't Stop" ... you get the idea.

Our favorite so far is Chocolate Cream's "When a Booty Calls", a nod to the 1979 classic "When a Stranger Calls" (and presumably the ill-advised 2006 remake). We haven't gotten a screener yet, but we can only hope someone screams "We've traced the dick, and it's cumming inside your mouth!" at some point in the action.

Other titles were less memorable. In fact, one in particular was perhaps the worst we've ever seen--and we've seen some doozies. Please, ladies and gentlemen, if you should ever find yourself in the position of making a gay porn film and you're looking for a title and the covershot features two guys getting it on reverse-cowboy style, PLEASE DO NOT CALL YOUR FILM "DIRTY WORK". This goes double if you're incorporating skidmarks into your graphic design. We should not have to explain why this is so.

(On the upside, the box cover does give us a glimpse of that guy from "What She Can't Give Me"--either Cory Woodall or Cameron Taylor, we don't know--prior to his expedition to the Land of Unfortunate Haircuts. Not bad.)
