Yesterday Joseph Kerekes plead guilty to second-degree murder in the 2007 stabbing death of gay porn producer and Cobra Video founder Bryan Kocis. He and fellow escort Harlow Cuadra were arrested in May 2007 after a sting operation involving twink superstar Brent Corrigan, who launched to fame starring in videos he made (some underage) for Cobra. It appears that the motive for the murder was due to a contract dispute between Corrigan and Kocis that was keeping Cuadra, a wannabe porn star, from working with Corrigan. Kerekes was sentenced to life in prison without possibility of parole, but avoided the death sentence by pleading guilty. Currently, Cuadra will still stand trial for murder and could be put to death if he is tried and found guilty—which, come on, at this point, seems pretty likely. However, Kerekes said he wouldn't testify against his partner in crime. Now the only thing to decide is who is going to play Kerekes in the movie that someone better make out of this case. We vote for Christopher Meloni (back in prison like his "Oz" days) or dream daddy Henry Rollins. Other ideas?
