Naked Rugby Players Sell Calendars, Why Not Electric Blue Sports Concoctions

We don't know what the hell these naked English rugby players have to do with selling Powerade, but after spilling a load looking at them, we're going to need to rehydrate.

Sports drink Powerade is the official drink of Britain's Rugby Football Union and they've decided to advertise the fact by having some of the leagues' stars—like Steve Borthwick (above), Paul Sackey (left), and Shane Williams (below)—pose with nothing but a rugby ball. We like that the naked look, but wouldn't a logo or a can of the beverage somewhere would be helpful for branding? Anyway, photog Alan Clarke did a great job capturing these men's best assets.

Not to belabor the point, cause we love hot naked guys, but isn't it weird that a brand with flavors like "Arctic Shatter," "Green Squall," and "Mountain Blast"—flavors that aren't even based in nature—has these guys in their natural state? Maybe they should smear them with additives, preservatives, and fake flavors and colors for the next ad.

God, we sound like a lesbian at the food co-op. Just ignore us,we'll go back to enjoying the rugby boys now.
