We Want This Midnight Cowboy To Stab Us Bad

Usually the swimsuit issue of gay mags is a simple affair: an excuse to show hot guys in next to nothing. Out Magazine takes it to the next level with their recent issue.

The magazine got seven photographers to give us a modern take on the classic beefcake photos (and early gay porn) of the Athletic Model Guild and their Physique Pictorial publication. The result is a mixed bag of photos with some good, some bad and some so incredibly hot that we can't stop thinking about them, like this snap from Mattias Vriens. It does everything right, the boy, the pose, the outfit, the menacing look that is somewhere between "Come hither" and "I am a rough piece of trade who will fuck your face and then cut your ear off."

Out gets major kudos for really delivering on an ambitious project, and of course AMG is pleased as punch to be honored in such a way. We'd be more than happy to be honored by any of these guys as well.
