Does Mason Wyler Need An Episode Of “Intervention”?

Unlike those people huffing compressed air on A&E, we don't know that he's on anything or has done anything wrong, but the star's erratic behavior has us wondering about him.

The latest is a post on his blog, Wyler Nation, where he is apologizing to his fans. He ran a program where those who sent him $50 or more would get his phone number, weekly phone calls, and regular webcam appearances, duties which it appears he has shirked. In the post he says that the reason he hasn't done this is because he's been attending bareback orgies, passing out in bathhouses, getting piss drunk, and getting pissed all over. The beginning of the post has a disclaimer that we shouldn't take him seriously, and this isn't the first time he's posted something false on his blog in the name of "fantasy." But are these little calls for help?

It all seems to hinge on his reported rape last fall. Wyler claimed he was raped but then posted false info on his blog which was quickly disproved. He verbally attached people who speculated that it was a publicity stunt, but then refused to press charges.

So, what is up with Wyler? It almost feels like he needs someone to step in and set him straight before he hits Britney Spears levels of meltdown. Is this persona he worked up something he thinks will turn on his fans or is it a reaction to a brutal rape? How much of all this is true? And, if it is true or false, will that change whether or not you still watch his movies?
