They Won This Day Bed On “The Price Is Right”

That's the only explanation, because no one would actually buy one. Having this hybrid creation is like dating a versatile guy: he says he'll do both, but he really only wants one or the other.

And the same is true with the day bed. Either you get too lazy to convert it into the couch in the morning and just leave it bare, or, you know you're lazy so you just end up sleeping with all the pillows and other frippery that make it look a couch in the first place.

We're glad this couple found a good use for it, even though they're certainly using it more like a bed than anything. We would really love it if the bottom got tied up to the silly iron bars, but we'll take watching him get fucked into next week. Maybe they'll get into it so hard they'll break the furniture and have to go buy either a real couch or a big ol' bed. Now that seems like the best use for a day bed we can imagine.
