There’s A New Sci-Fi Star To Get Our Geeky Groin Growing

The only nice thing we can say about "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" is it didn't kill our boner for Hugh Jackman or Ryan Reynolds. This weekend, "Star Trek" opens...and we might just have a new boyfriend.

This is Chris Pine, who stars as the younger version of Capt. James T. Kirk. We were always way more into comics than "Star Trek," but we'd book a passage on any ship that's going to contain this hunk. If J.J. Abrams' reboot of the popular franchise is as good as it looks in the trailer, we might have to give up our beloved Hugh and start lusting after Chris. Sure, he's not as built or as hairy, but Mr. Pine gives us serious wood (ha!) and we're snobby, so we're going to have to back the good flick. That's bad news for Marvel, because not only might "Trek" steal Wolvie's box office, but it might take his gays too!
