When there's nothing to write about, journalists usually start to make lists. Well, we've seen some gay porn lists popping up and they are just as stupid and arbitrary as they usually are. Unless you're Johnny Hazzard.
He came out on top of Cybersocket's Top 50 Pornstars of 2009 list. First off, we already had to warn one publication that you can't do a year-end list before the year is even over yet. That said, Cybersocket's list is fairly complete and while one can always quibble with the details, there are no egregious omissions or inclusions. Still, it seems to have no rhyme or reason to it.
We have no clue how the magazine about porn on the internet ordered their list or why the vital stats for each porn star are totally different. The first rule of compiling such a list is you make sure all the entries are uniform. Does anyone out there have a used Journalism 101 handbook to send their way? This list is well-intentioned and well-informed, but it needs a good editor.
List number two that got us all in a lather is Queer Me Now's list of the hottest gay porn bloggers. Obviously this list is completely useless because there's no mention of Brian O'Brien. Did QMN just call us ugly? That's obviously not true. Just look at how hot we are toiling away on the deck of the good ship Fleshbot. We're a fucking dreamboat!
