We Love When Models Pretend To Play Sports

Put a male model in some underwear or a swimsuit and we'll pay attention. Give him some balls, and we're at attention. That's why this newest layout is giving us some major wood in our athletic supporter.

This is Federico Amoroso, a very gorgeous model who works hard on his abs. He was shot by the alliteratively named Sam Scott Schiavo for Fantastics Mag, one of our favorite publications, even if it only comes out on the web. We don't think Amoroso's a professional professional model, instead of an athlete, but why not deck him out like one for the sake of fashion.

This is a trick that we're seeing more and more lately. It's like models, with their preposterous pecs and waxed bodies just aren't all that masculine, so that photographers have to dress them up in all sorts of apparel so that they'll read like a junior varsity football player. What they don't realize is there's nothing that will make a guy look like a bigger pansy than if he puts on sports paraphenalia he can't sell. Amoroso doesn't have that problem. Not only does he make us Amorous, but he reminds me why we're an athletic support in the first place.
