We Had An Encounter With “Focus/Refocus” And Our Penis Barely Survived

That's because we jerked off for about two and a half hours watching the first half of Raging Stallions giant porn noir "Focus/Refocus." We're a little chafed today, but seriously, the movie is that amazing.

This is the studio's big blockbuster of the year, and it sure to be nominated for just as many AVNs as last year's cowboy fantasia "To the Last Man." Also like that movie, this one is gorgeous, motivated by plot, a little bit violent, and stars a bunch of our Raging Stallion favorites in compromising positions.

"Focus/Refocus" is a star turn for Cole Streets, who plays main character Joe Wilder, a bored, unemployed gay boy who falls into a seedy underworld when he becomes obsessed with watching and making amateur porn. For much of the action, he's holding a camera himself, so we get to see the hand-held's take on the action, as well as the stationary camera that we're used to filming such endeavors.

Things start innocently enough, when Joe films him and his boyfriend, played by David Taylor getting it on at home. In the scene these two boys seem to have a real connection and we not only get some ass-busting action, but something that approaches real intimacy.

After Joe puts the clip on PornoTube, he becomes obsessed with filming sex, including shooting himself giving a BJ to a guy in an alley. It's a perfect seedy scene, where we don't even see the face of the man behind the cock. How many of us have sucked a dick in an alley and remember the cock more than we remember his face? That's what I thought. He also films a great scene in a parking garage where Tristan Jaxx works Connor Habib's hole out in the back of a pickup truck. Habib is wearing striped tube socks (our favorite) and makes so much noise, the neighbors should call the cops. Delish.

Joe's BF doesn't like being on PornoTube so much, and when his boss, Scott Tanner, finds out, he gives him the kind of grudge fuck that would make an inmate jealous. The boyfriend is so pissed, he dumps Joe who is a bit upset, but he has to go film an orgy.

This final set piece, starring Francesco D'Macho, Damien Crosse, former Lucas playboy Wilfred Knight (looking better than ever), Angelo Marconi, and Steve Cruz playing porn star Dario Stefano (a awesome porn name). After lots of oral and blowing loads all over Crosse's face, everyone takes a turn getting fucked (except Crosse, sadly) and blow again on D'Macho. Joe is there filming the action and we get to see views high, low, and in-between as the men go to town on each other.

The whole movie is outlined by Joe being interviewed by a cop, some footage of a dead gay guy, Bruno Bond skulking around, and some mysterious crime. Just what is going to happen? You'll have to watch and find out, but we might be able to shed some more light tomorrow after we've watched part two.

But we can definitively say this now, there is nothing like "Focus/Refocus." Directors Ben Leon, Chris Ward, and Tony DiMarco not only have great sets, costumes, actors, and story, they also have an entirely different way of filming the action. This "man holding a camera" device not only gives us a unique eye on the action, but the camera is always finding unique ways to show us dirty things that go above and beyond just a cock in the hole. Well done, gentlemen. And we'll be sure to use more lube tonight while watching the rest.
