Bloc Party Singer Kele Okereke Flaunts His Stuff For Attitude Magazine

In this spread from the gay UK monthly Attitude magazine, the indie rocker turned electro-disco solo artist shows us exactly why pop stars have so much more fun than everyone else. Three words: slutty photo shoots.

You may be more familiar with Kele as the lead singer of the British guitar rock outfit Bloc Party, a pretty straight-laced rock band whose debut album "Silent Shout" was a bit of a critical darling back in 2005. This year, following in the tradition of Beyonce, Gwen Stefani, and many other band leaders turned solo stars, he stepped out all on his own to release "The Boxer," an album of awesome dance music.

Lead singers go solo for all sorts of reasons: artistic freedom, interpersonal differences with the band mates, money. We don't know for sure what prompted Kele's solo move. But if we had to guess, we'd say he knew he would never get to strip down to a pair of booty shorts for a photo spread if he kept hanging out with those boring old heteros that make up the rest of his band.
