Photos from the set of the new "Conan The Barbarian" film have been trickling out painfully slowly over the past few months. Now we finally enough evidence to tackle the question: who's hotter? Old Conan or New Conan?
The original "Conan The Barbarian" was a 1982 fantasy epic starring a more-or-less bikini-clad Arnold Schwarzenegger as the titular barbarian hero. Scwarzenegger was at the peak of his Mr. Olympia winning streak and his version of the character looked more like an action figure or comic book superhero come to life than a barbaric warrior living in the, uh, Hyborean Age.
The new "Conan" film stars Jason Momoa who's best known for his work on the Syfy original series, "Stargate Atlantis." Don't hold that against him, though. He's also 6'4 and gorgeous and he's got a bangin' body. Sure, Arnold in his peak could probably, you know, tear this new guy in half. But if the worth of a film could be judged by pecs alone, they could probably stop filming now. Too bad they've traded in Conan's trusty animal-skin speedo for what looks like some sort of deconstructed leather kilt. Oh well, we just hope that they'll make the homoerotic barbarian orgy scenes that much more explicit to make up for it.
