We're used to ads for fetish gear being all about sex and submission. Well, here are some new ads that feature a lollipop-loving alien talking about his feelings. It reminds us of every sci-fi fantasy we've ever had.
Friend (and Crush Object) of Fleshbot David Mason has done some amazing photoshoots for his spandex fetish line Slick It Up, but nothing can compete with his new line of commercials, directed by Tim Palen. In it an alien in one of the brand's trademark body suits talks about just how he feels to wear fetish gear. There is nothing at all dirty about any of them, but still it brings up all these naughty fantasies in our heads.
For whatever reason putting this masked man in these futuristic sets channels the same erotic thrill we got from shower scenes from "Battlestar Galactica," the heaving chest of X-Man Sunfire, Walking Work of Art Logan McCree in porn classic "The Visitor," Jeff Bridges naked ass in "Starman," and even dreams of humping Marty McFly on on the hood of the DeLorean from "Back to the Future." These commercials teach us that fetish isn't so much about sex, but it's about a fleeting emotion, a feeling. It's the confluence of everything we find sexy, taboo, and impossible all at once—sort of like longing for this alien. Man, this certainly takes cos-play to a whole different level.
