Who Cares if Jake Cruise, Pornstar Pappy, Also Sponsors Miss America Preliminaries?

"There are worse things Jake Cruise could do... than film porn with a boy or two." Not according to RadarOnline.com, the cheap celeb gossip site that's tirelessly tackier than Perez Hilton in a Speedo. Yesterday, Radar "exclusively" revealed that gay porn's resident old fart donates moolah to the Southern California Scholarship Association, which "produces the Miss Hollywood pageant, which is an official preliminary to Miss California and Miss America." Gays and their sex ways are ruining America!

Some sensationalistic prissy straight people—like Radar "reporter" Amber Goodhead, er, Goodhand—need to get over their hyped-up fear of gayness, or fear of porn, or fear of sex itself. According to Radar Online (we're keeping Jake's pseudonym, since we at Fleshbot love our pen names, heh heh):

In 2011 [Jake] was named as the first of the organization's major scholarship donors, and his partner...sits on the board and is the Executive Director.

[Jake and his partner] also own EKRA Group Inc. and a web design company called Dancing Moose Interactive that is responsible for designing the Miss California website.

I'm no pro on the ways of Our Fair and Mighty Nation's Beauty Pageants, but it sounds to me that this scholarship organization is four steps removed from Miss America. It's like raising a tizzy because the fourth cousin of the Grand Marshal of the Pasadena Rose Parade ran naked through the woods and posted it on YouTube. Like, who totally cares?!

So what if Jake and partner own the same company that designed Miss California's website? Radar Online claims that's a "direct conflict" with their porn career. It must be because one is about the wholesomeness of half naked, bikini-clad women strolling about to be judged and the other is about the horror of naked men. Is Amber Goodhand sexist?

The article attempts to raise Cain about Jake's now defunct 2000 website called PrayersOnTheWeb.com. Why bring this up? Is it an attempt to say how the eeeeevils of gay porn are even in prayer spaces. Um, Amber, dear, that was over a decade ago and is now irrelevant.

Ah ha! Perhaps an explanation! Why Radar Online sees this as a scandal is made clearer by this tacky ad anchored to the bottom of their page.

UPDATE: Jake Cruise's partner has been forced to resign. We hope Amber Badhead, sorry, Goodhand is proud of ruining an innocent's man's contribution to feminine beauty.
