As any drunk college student will tell you, the easiest way to appear naked in public is to get lots of other like-minded folk to do the same. (Call it the wisdom of crowds.) On August 25 hundreds of un-uptight cyclists strode through the City of Brotherly Love decked out in body paint (or less) at the fourth annual Philly Naked Bike Ride.
Is this shit legal? Well, according to organizers they've never had an incident with the Fuzz since they started the ride in 2009. The idea behind the event, they say, is "to promote fuel conscious consumption, positive body image and cycling advocacy." Okay, we'll go with that.
And, unlike the Castro District, a lot oof the guys who participate in this streak-a-thon are the kind you want to see naked, from ripped jocks to soft-and-cuddly hipster types. Which ones put air in your tires?
