Michael Lucas Allegedly Assaulted After Forcing Performers Into Bareback Contracts

Poor Michael Lucas can't seem to catch a break these days. Every time I turn around, he's either starting drama with other gays to snag a catchy headline, having his ass handed to him by lucky rivals, or ruffling feathers with bareback flicks despite a long history of condom advocacy.

This week, the insanity has apparently infected his models, as he tells the New York Post that his hunky exclusive model Vito Gallo "broke into" the Lucas Entertainment office in New York City last month and "started beating people up" while veins "bulged on his forehead."

Lucas is apparently now suing Gallo for trespassing, alleging that on Sept. 12, he "just stormed into our offices and started beating people up." The attack was apparently so horrific that "several people locked themselves into the editing suite" while Gallo proceeded to "push and strike Lucas in the neck and shoulder."

Sounds like a page ripped from a horrible psycho thriller, right? That's because it probably is.

Sources from within the office on the day in question tell Fleshbot that while Gallo was at the office that day, he "didn't beat anyone up and no one locked themselves in the editing suite." They claim that there may have been a heated argument between the two, but the story fed to the NY Post is completely false and "Michael is forcing the whole office to lie about it for press." Gasp!

But what was the argument about, exactly?

Sources also claim that the company's new bareback line has caused a major riff between performers and staffers—we hear Lucas is attempting to coerce unwilling performers to appear in bareback scenes under their current contracts. Performers choosing to only have sex with condoms have recently been denied work with no option to terminate their contract or find work with other studios. (Maybe they should just fall in love?)

Though it's unconfirmed whether Vito Gallo was one of the performers in question, it certainly doesn't sound too far-fetched for someone making $1,500 per scene to cause a fuss over the prospect of no future work.

"He's very popular, he's very good looking and he's one of my top four performers," Lucas told the Post. "We'd love him to return if he goes through very serious anger management and see a shrink."

Oh? How about couples therapy, Michael?

UPDATE: Michael Lucas would like you to know that he's not pressing charges against Vito Gallo. His statement in response to the claims above also states that any performer feeling pressured to shoot scenes without condoms need not be:

1.) Neither Lucas Entertainment Inc., nor myself, are suing [redacted] (Vito Gallo). We have no intention of doing so and are not party to any proceedings against him.

2.) We have never forced or tried to force any model to perform without condoms, nor will we do so in the future and that very much includes our contracted exclusives. A lot of the power of our scenes comes from our attempt to create environments where models can perform confidently and naturally. Quite apart from any moral issues, it would be blatantly stupid of us to suddenly deviate from this proven model of success by forcing models to engage in practices they are not completely comfortable with.

3.) Of course I have not asked employees to lie about the incident. To the contrary, on advice of counsel, I have said very clearly that nobody must comment on the specifics of the incident in any way and beyond my initial statement. Anybody who does, does so against specific instructions.
