So, I got the two new shows "Here and Now" - about multiracial adopted children able to see things others can't - and "This Close" - about the trials and tribulations of two deaf friends navigating love and life in the city - mixed up, and thought that the "Here" in "Here and Now" was a play on "Hear" and that it was the show about the deaf friends. Frankly this would have been a much better title choice, and the creators should think about switching the names. 

NE WAYS, the comedy This Close is getting all kinds of critical praise for its honest portray of deafness in the year 2018, and through humor as well as real talk, the audience learns that deaf people are just like everyone else. Unless they're Nyle DiMarco. Then they're hotter and better in every way. Here's the jizz-st of This Close via The New York Times:

The deaf actors Josh Feldman and Shoshannah Stern created and wrote “This Close,” expanding on an earlier no-budget online series called “Fridays.” They also star in it as Michael and Kate, best friends living in Los Angeles. Michael is a gay artist in a downward spiral after a breakup, blocked on his graphic novel and often drunk; Kate is a snarkily funny spitfire who works at a public-relations firm and is engaged to a hearing man, Danny (Zach Gilford), who hasn’t told her that he lost his job.

Did someone say gay? Josh Feldman is a straight up hottie and real-life homosenxual, and in the very first episode, he bangs actor Alex Polcyn from behind at a gay club! Usually nudity in television shows is front-loaded, but it looks like in this one it's back-loaded. RITE LADIES. An even longer scene ropes in Colt Prattes, Angel Garet, and David Walsh, and you can check out all the goodness below because you know I'm not about to leave your asses hanging!
