Blake Shelton Voted ‘Sexiest Man Alive’, But Does He Deserve The Title?

People Magazine has announced its pick for 'Sexiest Man Alive' and it was honestly not what I (or many others) expected. Blake Shelton is surely a good-looking dude, but the choice to give him the same title that has belonged to hotties like Brad Pitt and George Clooney raises a lot of questions. Did People look at everyone before making this decision? Who else was in the running? 

After the announcement was made, many concerned citizens erupted in... well let's just say they weren't too pleased. 

"Shelton is the primary reason I refuse to watch NBC’s The Voice, and that’s a lot, considering that Miley Cyrus is on the show. Shelton has the face and the personality of a possum, and it’s amazing that People really thought its pick would wow folks," says Yeesha Callahan of The Grapevine.

Twitter wasn't very happy either.

Blake Shelton is sexy if you like a guy who's always about to lean in and tell you about hearty, healthy, American dog food.

Many even used 'Trump's America' as part of the reason for Blake being chosen.

Instead of putting Blake down for being picked for something he may or may not have deserved, let's just take a look at a few other options the magazine should have weighed before bestowing the title upon him. Perhaps there is someone on this list who truly is the sexiest man alive. If so, someone let People know that yes I'm interested in being their scout for next year.
