Nico Tortorella, the hunky actor who currently stars alongside Hilary Duff in TV Land's Younger, is finally ready to open up about his relationship, but only after he shows us his favorite outfit - his birthday suit.
During an interview with The Advocate, Nico, who views himself as pansexual, got candid about his 11-year relationship with fitness and lifestyle entrepreneur Bethany Meyers, who identifies as gay. The two are extremely open with their polyamorous relationship, but explain that their love for each other is definitely real.
"I think the way I use the word fluidity is like fluid in everything, fluid in train of thought; not this, not that; beyond definition. It doesn’t always have to be one thing," Nico told The Advocate in the Q&A. "The one thing anybody can talk about, no matter race, religion, sexuality or gender, is love. Everyone has some sort of explanation, feeling, memory, backstory, or idea of love."
He also explains that his relationship with Meyers, although it's over a decade old, hasn't always been easy. He said that navigating their own mutual love for each other was the simpler part, but figuring out how to factor in other sexual partners took much longer to grasp.
Meyers also explains her feelings about the long road the two have traveled together. "I think we’re raised with this idea that you’re supposed to go and find ‘the one,’ especially women," she says. She says that we are expected to find that one partner, have a relationship, be happy, and grow together. Having all of that, plus other partners seems "a bit messy."
While Tortorella and Meyers don’t seek to put labels on themselves or each other, they say they understand the world’s need for them.

“I can be emotionally, physically attracted to men,” he said. “I can be emotionally, physically attracted to women. The ‘B’ in LGBTQ-plus has been fought for, for so long. I’m not going to be the person that’s like, ‘No, I need a ‘P,’ I need another letter!’ I stand by people that have paved this way for somebody like me.”
With more celebs like Nico coming forward and helping blast labels and societal "norms," maybe there's hope. Perhaps this world isn't as fucked up as we all thought it to be. Check out Nico's interview and photoshoot for more.
