If your short list of the best actors currently working does not include Tom Hardy, it's hardly a complete list. Hardy is basically the actor Leonardo DiCaprio wishes he were: An intelligent, gifted, baby-faced hunk who's not afraid to take real risks in his work, and his next role may prove to be his riskiest.
Hardy is tackling the dual roles of real life British gangsters Ronald and Reginald Kray, once brought to life on screen in the utterly dull 1990 film The Krays. This time, Oscar winning L.A. Confidential scribe Brian Helgeland is bringing their sordid tale to the big screen in Legend, a film co-starring David Thewlis, Chazz Palminteri, Christopher Eccleston, and Kingsman star Taron Egerton.
If simply hearing the phrase, "I prefer boys," coming out of the mouth of Hardy doesn't do it for you, I'm not sure I can ever convince you how wrong you are.
