We owe a lot to gay porn.

• It taught us how to have bad sex.
• It taught us what we were supposed to look like naked.
• It showed us how big our penises were REALLY supposed to be.
• It showed us that if every encounter you had with another male, gay or straight, wasn’t sexual, then your life was all wrong.

…among other things.

But without gay porn stars models, there would be no gay porn.
So perhaps even though we owe a lot to gay porn, we owe even MORE to gay porn stars models.

However, due to many factors, porn hasn’t been as good to porn stars as it was in the past. That’s why we don’t see as many porn “Stars” these days, and many refer to themselves as porn “models”. Many of these guys now supplement the income they make from doing porn with appearances, escorting, and other places.

But some are now flat-out asking their fans for money – Kickstarter and GoFundMe are the biggest sources. And since we owe a lot to gay porn, here are some current fundraising campaigns you should donate to. Do your part.

The 6’11 Escort – Brendan Doherty

Campaign Purpose: To write the “Life of the 6’11” Escort” Book

That’s the tagline on his Rentboy page, and it’s also his URL (tallerthaneveryone.com)

OK not a pornstar, but apparently Brendan is a 6’11 escort. 380 pound and wears a size 20 shoe. He’s 24 and is apparently rated as one of the top 5 male escorts in NYC, though he originally began his career in Chicago.

Since his career began, Brendan has been keeping track of his experiences, and wants to share them. And apparently that costs $10,000 (technology, advertising, paperback copies, amazon fees, payment processing…you know).

Okay am I just missing something where books cost $10,000 to produce? In 2014?

Cole Money, frequently seen on GayHoopla, wants you to foot the bill for his marriage. To a woman. Because SCREW your marriage rights, guys.

Unfortunately, Jessie’s soon-to-be husband, Bijan, is German. So they’re working on getting him a green card, so he can work and live in the United States getting a temporary work visa. The only problem is that they’re extremely expensive. They’d like your support.

Campaign Purpose: Family debt and future schooling

Although, it should be noted that Johnny V Initially set the Fundraising Goal amount to $100,000. Yes, you read that right.

Johnny wants to use this money towards future schooling for personal training, and to open his own gym and supplement line. There’s also something about helping his dad with some (poorly-explained) money issues.

I grew up in an amazing home, with amazing parents, who have both done everything possible for each of their sons, in order to provide us with amazing lives. However, I now watch my parents struggle day to day with money issues and debt, because of this. My father is always working to try and build back what he once had (in terms of his finances), without any leeway.

And he wants you to fund it. To the tune of 10k.

Most people usually accomplish this by backpacking through Europe, staying at hostels, depending on the kindness of strangers, and all that romantic stuff.

But Brock, you do you. And find yourself in the process.
