Falcon / Raging Stallion Acquires Hot House

On Friday, July 11, Falcon/Raging Stallion Studios announced that it acquired Hot House Entertainment. "We are excited to bring Hot House into the AEBN family of companies,” said company president Chris Ward. "I started my own career at Hot House, so it is very significant for me to bring Hot House to Falcon/Raging Stallion. We plan to preserve and protect Steven Scarborough’s outstanding legacy and continue filming in the Hot House tradition and style."

Ward is no stranger to mergers, in December 2012 his own Raging Stallion Studios was merged with Falcon Studios when the two companies were acquired by AEBN. The addition of Hot House makes this the largest gay porn studio conglomerate.

At the same time, Hot House president Steven Scarborough announced his departure from the industry. "I am absolutely confident that Chris and his team will continue the Hot House tradition, which is something very, very important to me. I look forward to seeing Hot House remain an industry leader for years to come,” says Scarborough. Chris Ward will head the combined operations, but no new company name was announced.

The acquisition is a full circle moment for all involved. Steven Scarborough began his career at Falcon Studios and left them in 1993 to start Hot House. Along the way, Chris Ward joined Hot House to head up their new fetish brand called Club Inferno, then in 1999, Ward left Hot House to start Raging Stallion Studios with JD Slater.

The company plans to bring the 300-title Hot House catalog to cable television through FalconTV. Hot House director Christian Owen has been maintained to preserve the studio's style and continuity of content, as well, Rob LeVan remains on board as director of operations.

And for now, it's business as usual at the company's membership sites: Hot House, Club Inferno Dungeon, Falcon Studios, and Raging Stallion Studios.
