Is Jarec Wentworth All Dazzle No Pop?

I guess I'm on a bit of a trip down memory lane. When Body Shots starring Jarec Wentworth and Phenix Saint arrived in my assignment queue, I was reminded of how much I adored Saint when he was just starting out in 2006. He's another guy I followed on Next Door Buddies back when it was much more of a amateur site, where a straight guy supposedly got his first taste of guy-on-guy sex.

Dark-haired guys always catch my eye first, but what sold me on Phenix was his chin scruff. It drives me nuts. He only did 12 movies for Next Door Buddies, I thought it was a lot more. And he's been a mainstay at MEN.com filming 46 scenes with them. And for the past few years, he's been a bit hard to nail down – is he in the business or not? – but with his scene with Jarec Wentworth and another couple with Colt Rivers in the past month (both are new performers to MEN.com), Saint does seem to be very much around.

Wentworth's last performance as an get-on-your-knees-boy top bossing Sebastian Young around wasn't convincing. But his debut with Jimmy Fanz in MEN.com's Men for Sale was fantastically hot, panting sex, so I know he has it in him. I thought I should give him another look.

Body Shots was okay, but it didn't get me all charged up. Phenix plays a straight photographer shooting some face shots for Jarec, who wants to update his modelling portfolio. Jarec turns on the flirt, which is fun to watch and the couple were building some nice tension and chemistry. Then their clothes came off and it was gone. Jarec stuck it in and Phenix grunted a lot and they both shot big loads all over Saint. But the sex felt passionless, like they were just going through the motions and pumping out another scene. Maybe it's just me because Wentworth's scenes are consistently pulling member ratings in the 90s. What do you think? Is it Jarec? Phenix? Or both?
