Paul Canon Talks To His Family About His Porn Career With Broke Straight Boys

Canon is honest and forthright about where he's at in life right now and that's refreshing. His family talks openly about Paul and one brother even says that he thinks Paul is gay. In private Canon says, "I hate labels."

I found the video tough going at times. It's hard seeing people struggle with who they are and Canon reminds me of my own painful journey. Few of us woke up one morning saying, "Yippee, I'm gay!" It's often a long and painful journey to that admission. And once we've arrived and healed, it's easy sitting in the peanut gallery and saying, "Oh Mary, you're a parade waiting to happen." It's funny how in those moments we forget just how painful it was arriving at our self acceptance.

It was refreshing that Canon's family didn't react to his sexuality or his porn career a la The Jerry Springer Show. Sure, there was the odd indelicate fumble, but overall they seemed more concerned with Paul figuring out who he is so he can live a healthy life.
