Some call it free running, some call it parkour, but whatever you call it, it's a legitimate art form at this point. I personally thought it jumped the shark when it appeared in a James Bond movie, but if there's one thing that could get me back on the bandwagon, it's naked parkour.
Meet Tim Shieff, a free running world champion who teamed up with his friend and photographer Jason Paul to snap some artsy, black and white photos of Shieff doing a little nude free running which, according to The Independent (link below), was borne out of a trip the two took to Greece.
Speaking to London Live’s Wake Up London show, Shieff said: “We were in Greece on a free running and thought that it didn’t quite fit the surroundings, and it just came to us, why not do it naked."
I'm going to begin casually dropping this line into conversations. "You think we should go see that movie later?" "Sure, and why not do it naked?"
“It really fitted (ed. ugh!) with the black and white style and we thought why don’t we continue this theme.”
The two then travelled to London to carry on the style a bit closer to home.
Shieff said: “In London, we got some better photos than we did in the first shoot; the architecture just lent itself so well to what we were doing.”
Photos from the shoot are available for purchase at this website, with a percentage of the profits going to Jamie Oliver's charity Fifteen. Here's a completely unrelated Jamie Oliver GIF for inspiration...
