Hollywood has been suckling on the magical money teet of Peter Pan for forever, and depending on which side you dress to is either stretching out its magic into increasingly threadbare man tights, or is exploring various fascets of the story while bringing it to new generations. I would say sometimes it's the former. *COUGH*

The latest reincarnation, Pan, is slated for release on October 9th. The project first made headlines when the white Rooney Mara was cast to play Tiger Lily, and most recently Pan is making the news because critics are calling it a diarrhea splatter of a movie. Whether ANOTHER version of Peter Pan tickles your taint, we can all agree that the casting directors had their act together when they enlisted the gorgeous Garrett Hedlund to play Captain Hook. *SPLUGE*
