What Strange, Gay Circus Arts Planet Did Chip Tanner Come From?

The latest Youtube video by Chip Tanner, the craziest gay pornstar you know, is a statement about sexual violence and discrimination, made through that most emotionally articulate of performance media—juggling. And he's really, really good at it.

We always knew that Chip Tanner was a multi-talented performer, but even we may have underestimated the full range of his abilities. Chip Tanner takes us through a bevy of seriously impressive juggling tricks, popping those green-headed clubs in the air with the dexterity of a man with an extra brain stored in each hand. At one point he slides from standing position into a full split while juggling! How do you even do that?

Of course, Tanner would never be so boring and straightforward as to simply make a fun video showing off his juggling skills. Interspersed throughout the clip are images of Chip scrawling difficult-to-read statements about rape and coercion on a wall, and title cards featuring statements from teens on their experience with sexual or sex-related violence. We're never told what this has to do with juggling. We don't even know if the horrifying statements from these teens are real, or where he got them. (Each one ends, nonsensically, with "LOL." As in, "Now I'm incapable of having normal sexual relationships, LOL!") We're guessing that this is Tanner's contribution to the It Gets Better Project, but we stopped trying to figure out what was going on in that man's head a long time ago.
