If you know Michael Lucas you know there is nothing he loves more than press attention. Well thanks to his "Men of Israel" (starring Avi Dar here) he's getting more attention than ever—and in the strangest places.
First the movie was the launching point for a rumination on Jewish identity in the LA Times by writer Patrick Goldstein.
Then, on Tuesday, the film was a launching point for comedian Chelsea Handler and her panel of comedians for a number of inspired jokes on her hip-with-the-Us-Magazine-set show "Chelsea Lately." Lucas doesn't care that people are using his movie for jokes, as long as they're talking about it. He probably offered Chelsea a nice long footrub if she talked about his movie.
