First Look: Dynasty Reboot To Feature Some Hot Gay Fucking

Grl, you Dy-nasty! Don't tell me if that joke's been made before. My little heart can't handle it. Following the runaway success of other retro soap reboots such as Dallas and Melrose Place, the 80's classic Dynasty is making a return on the CW! We have a surprising amount to cover, starting with the fact that one of our beloved pervy CW execs, Rick Haskins, has already stated: "I think ‘Dynasty’ is not unlike what we had with ‘Riverdale’ last year." If the 45-minute long trailer for the Dynasty reboot is any indication, it looks like Rick isn't going to let us down! The original Dynasty - basking in the conservatism, extravagance, and subdued stylings of the period between 1981 - 1989 - actually did feature a gay character. Steven Carrington is the homo son of wealthy patriarch Blake Carrington, but in the original, Steven mostly slept with women. 

Heather Locklear's character Samuel Joseph Flores was Steve's manipulative love interest (tbh all of that was pretty gay), but this time around Sammy Jo will be played by a MAN, Rafael de la Fuente! And yes, one of Locklear's original lines on the ABC series was "That would make him out to be a fag." That was before Disney bought ABC. Now it would obviously be "jew."

The point of all this is that the brand spanking new Steven Carrington, James Mackay, and Rafael de la Fuente have a steamy elevator makeout sesh in the new Dynasty trailer, followed by some brief but hot pillow talk. There's a bunch of other stuff going on in the clip, mostly just really good acting. Will you be tuning in for Dynasty?
