Riverdale Finale, Double Sprouse, K.J. Apa Shirtless Scene

Last week we reported on the season finale of Riverdale in which Casey Cott swaps spit with his man lover. My little editorial trick was that it actually wasn't the season finale, and I didn't do my research. Sneaky sneaky. We all know that Riverdale needed to leave CW-viewers' panties in a crumpled sticky bunch while they wait for the already greenlit season two, and the pervy execs don't disappoint with the episode "The Sweet Hereafter." It is sweet indeed, as both K.J. Apa and Cole Sprouse strip down to have sex! With... women. Blech. But with some creative Final Cut Pro work, this could be some real magic.

The steamy scene, which lasts almost a minute, finds the shirtless Archie (Apa) picking Veronica (Camila Mendes) up off the floor to plug her up in the bedroom. We then switch over to Betty (Lili Reinhart) as she strips off Jughead's (Sprouse) shirt as he smushes her against a wall. Well, well, well. Kids these days.
