It may be a sexy anomaly in Mizer’s ouevre, but its plot is about as familiar as porn itself: it’s the story of what happens when a bright-eyed young man from the Midwest comes to Hollywood to seek fame and fortune. Would it be spoiling the outcome if we told you that he ends up taking his clothes off at some point along the way?
True story: The very first gay porn movie we ever saw was a circa 1983 William Higgins twink vehicle that was playing at the now-shuttered Gaiety in Times Square: we were so naive about the way dirty movie theaters worked that we actually called ahead to check the showtimes so we wouldn’t miss anything.
