As we mentioned last week, Dr. Sketchy’s–New York City’s famed cabaret life drawing session–finally got in touch with its more tender side last weekend with the launch of sister salon Madame du Sketchy’s at legendary Manhattan drag bar Lucky Cheng’s. In true original Dr. Sketchy’s form, however, alcohol was imbibed, prizes were awarded, and (most importantly) scantily clad models like Machine Dazzle, Ian, and Deja Davenport posed for our inspiration and enjoyment. Interested in a life drawing class but find all those boobies too … uh, distracting? Dr. Sketchy’s, our favorite art event-cum-burlesque spectacular, is taking a break from the ladies with its very first Madame du Sketchy’s Drag Drawing Salon, to held this Sunday at New York’s famed drag bar…

What do you get when you put together a bunch of drag queens and half-naked go-go boys (including pornstars Ben Andrews and Aaron King), load them into a 1990 Chevy Schoolbus, and take them on the road? The mind reels at the possibilities, but we have a feeling we’re all going to find out.
