FLESHBOT EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW: Porn Superstar Nick Capra On His Directorial Debut

Who are some of your other favorite directors, and what do you like about their work? 

I like Wash West’s old stuff. He did some great story-based porn in the early 2000s. 

If you were to work with mainstream celebrities, who would be in your dream cast?

Bradley Cooper. Hugh Jackman. Zac Efron. And me. Everyone would be versatile and we would have a hot flip fuck extravaganza. Oh wait, that wouldn’t be very “mainstream," would it? But it would be a hot movie!

What are some of the challenges that you’ve faced along your way to directing?

Hahahahahah - Casting porn is like herding a bunch of cats. Everyone has their own “issues” and what have you. I only needed 4 performers for this movie. (I’m the 5th.) And I think it literally was cast and recast at least 10 times.

What are you most nervous about when you start filming later this month?

Royally fucking this movie up!

Aside from acting and now directing, what’s it like being Nick Capra? What does a normal day look like for you?

I wake up. I go to an AA meeting. I go from the meeting to the gym. That’s 7 days a week. I write every day. (I’m self-publishing a book of stories about my life in the industry and recovering from addiction at the end of May.) I film content for my Just For Fans page at least 3-4 times a week. I’m a big movie guy. So lots of movies. I go on dates with my Ma. (Mama’s boy here.) And, I’m in bed by 10 pm.

If any of our readers are just getting familiar with your work, where should they start? Do you have a favorite movie that you’ve acted in?

Start at the beginning. :) First movie: Finish Me Off directed by Chi Chi LaRue. Then, get a membership to Lucas Entertainment and watch all my movies there!

You’re remaining hush on your new project, but are there any details you can give us? Filming start date? Any hints about the cast or plot? We’re so excited! Good luck.

It’s story-based. Which Lucas Entertainment hasn’t done in a little while. It’s got an emotional element to it. My cast are all HOT men! And, the rest you will have to wait and see when it is released. :)
