After nine long years together, CNN host Anderson Cooper and his boyfriend Benjamin Maisani have broken up. While this may be a sad moment for the couple, some of us can't help but rejoice. I, for one, have been waiting quite a while for that silver fox to go back on the market.
"Benjamin and I separated as boyfriends some time ago," he said. "We are still family to each other, and love each other very much. We remain the best of friends, and will continue to share much of our lives together."
There wasn't any reason given for the split, but we can assume it had something to do with hectic work schedules and extensive traveling.
On a happier note, we can now appreciate Anderson's tight body without worrying about him gong home to someone else. I mean we all have the same chance now, right? It's a level playing field once again. Right?

Just a few days before Anderson and Benjamin's split was announced, his bff Andy Cohen also stated he was newly single after splitting from his boyfriend Clifton Dassuncao.
Don't expect this friendship to turn into more than it is, though. Anderson said a long time ago that because Andy broke the cardinal rule (asking about Anderson's mother, Gloria Vanderbilt), he knew "within 45 seconds I was never going on a date with Andy Cohen."
Still, I fully expect these two to bank off the single life together somehow.
