The GayVN Awards Are Back And Gayer Than Ever

After an eight year hiatus, the gay version of the AVN Awards, the GayVN Awards, is back! This January 2018, porn stars nominated in categories such as "Best Group Sex Scene," "Best Newcomer," and "Best Supporting Actor" will convene at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. As a Chicagoian and pity invite to the Chicago-based Grabby Awards - the current reigning show homoring (typo and it stays) gay porn stars - I have mixed emotions about the return of the GayVN Awards, which could serve as competition. But I guess if there's one thing porn stars are good at, it's finding enough space to fit everyone.

According to the press release from AVN, "top-notch celebrities, including Alec Mapa, Bruce Vilanch and Kathy Griffin" have been in attendance in prior years. AVN's CEO Tony Rios adds:

We want to make sure the GayVN Awards come back in a big way, so we have more than 25 categories honoring performers, movies, scenes and more.

The best thing about the GayVN Awards is that fans get to vote on the winners for the eleven "Fan Award Categories." Keep your eyes out for trophy-worthy eligible porn released between October 1, 2016 and September 30, 2017, and check out all of the porny categories below!
