All twelve fans of Glee got an eyeful this week during the show's first-ever "naked" episode, which cleverly used the cast of waxed 20-somethings as raw meat in a ratings stunt to lure menopausal moms and their tweens back to the primetime slot. Say what you want about it, but watching Chord Overstreet work out shirtless is reason enough to tune into anything.
The "naked" episode is born when the kids of William McKinley High take an alternative approach to raising funds for the after-school glee program by making the one thing that always manages to sell: an all-male, nearly nude calendar. The concept may seem too racy for the show's target demographic, but Fox manages to balance the bare skin with an overwhelming amount of porn-shaming and discussion of the terrible things that happen when you take your clothes off in front of a camera. We don't understand it either.
Check out Blake Jenner, Chord Overstreet, Darren Criss, Dean Geyer, Jacob Artist, and Samuel Larsen getting ready for the calendar shoot with some "bro-ga" (yoga for bros) in the video above, and their finished shots below. Like a true diva, Chris Colfer bowed out of the shirtless scenes because, you know, he doesn't want anyone to think he's gay or anything.
