It’s a great name that evokes all sorts of images of young, beautiful men looking ambiguously homoerotic. Luckily for us, the photos from this London exhibition don’t disappoint.
“Boy BANG Boy” is an exhibit that will be running in London’s East Gallery from August 6th to August 18th, and it’s almost enough to make us wish that we lived in England. But then we think about eating beans and eggs for breakfast and we change our mind again.
“Boy BANG Boy is a provocative exhibition celebrating the image of the boy. The exhibition brings together selected artists, from around the world, who work predominantly with the photographic image. The artworks presented are prevalent, whether intentional or not, of narcissism, egoism, voyeurism and the romanticism found or achieved in everyday life.”
Tbe exhibit features work from one of our favorite naked man-flesh photographers, Ryan Pfluger, although we can’t tell if any of the photos in this preview are his. The exhibit also includes work by Stuart Sanford, Daniel Karlsson, Eiki Mori, and was co-curated by Stuart Sanford and Sichi.
