Buck Angel Opens Up His … Mouth

Everyone we know who knows Buck Angel agrees that he’s one of the most genuinely nice guys in the adult business, even if he looks like he could tear you limb from limb. Maybe part of that is because he talks about his work without sounding like a press release, and will speak his mind on just about any topic—even about certain porn legends who may or may not be working the show floor a few feet away from him. Or maybe it’s just that infectious laugh that wins people over. What do you think?

    I heart Buck Angel. Ever since he was on Howard Stern and rode the sybian, I’ve been enamored. I also find myself strangely interested in someone that looks like a manly-man, but has a vagina. It’s much more interesting to me than a chick with a dick. It’s harder to be a man than it is to be a girl. Well, not exactly that I know from personal experience, but it looks harder. Go Buck!

    I agree with Buck that what he’s doing is validating and paving the way for ftm performers! Imagine that he’s been in both the AVN and the GayVN awards — I think that is monumental.

    As a pornstar who is genderqueer, I appreciate a growing acceptance, and market for, queer sexuality that includes all genders.
