Call us crazy, but we think the North American porn industry could be doing a lot more to exploit the Current Unpleasantness in the Middle East aside from, say, the occassional swarthy pan-Arab sex romp or problematic glamorization of human rights abuses in Guantanamo. For inspiration, we hope any aspiring producers reading this will check out the small but choice archive of stories at GayEgypt.com, which includes such penetrating, gritty titles as "Saddam's Secret Sex Slave", "One Tourist and Four Army Boys in Cairo", and our favorite, "I Was A Taliban Sex Slave!" (emphasis ours, but can you blame us?), all filled with extra-thorough weapons inspections, sex-crazed mujahideen, and more things we'd suspect were the products of an overeager imagination if they didn't come with a guarantee that some of them "are based very loosely on true events". (Yes, it also says that some of the stories aren't based on true events. But let us hold on to our fantasy that Abu Musab al-Zarqawi was really a gangbang bitch for just a little while longer, k?)
