While an amateur porn entrepeneur in the neighborhood might cause hysterical tabloid headlines in some parts of the world, it's considered just another job in more enlightened locales—especially in San Francisco, which is not only the home of the 401(K)-participating Kink.com but also a venture featuring the kind of real hot prison trade you're always hoping to see in porn but somehow rarely do. According to the SF Chronicle, PrisonStud.com is the brainchild of Bay Area-based Steven, a 34 year old ex-con who sees the site as both a money making opportunity for himself and a means of helping some of his fellow former convicts get back on their feet and stay on the, er, straight and narrow: "If I help keep some of these guys out of prison, or at least put a few extra bucks in their pocket, that's the best part of this whole thing."
While most of Steven's models are the real deal (a tagline on the models area of the site reads "Can you identify the man who assaulted you last night?"), we also spotted a less threatening familiar face in the video lineup: we're pretty sure that the closest Shane Rollins has been to a prison yard was during the filming of "Justice" last year. Still, Steven and his crew deserve props for keeping at least one part of the online amateur porn scene authentic while coming up with one of the more enjoyable rehabilitation programs we've seen. And there's not a single flowing head scarf or set of frosted tips in sight!
