In case you missed reading it in the checkout line at the supermarket this week, the cover story of the current National Enquirer details an alleged tryst between sylphlike "American Idol" popster Clay Aiken and a studly former Army Ranger that reportedly began as an online hook-up. (We say "allegedy" and "reportedly" because we all know that Clay is straight.) However, according to the article John Paulus—the ex-Green Beret who is now in living in North Carolina—reportedly passed a polygraph test, saved his chat transcripts, and held on to a stained washrag after a marathon 90 minute barebacking session with the singer. Er, allegedly.

"He's a gay Monica Lewinsky!" says gossip gangsta Perez Hilton, who's been leaking bits and pieces of the story over the past two weeks. Perez also posted some photos that show the impressive attributes of the cumrag-saving soldier. Thanks to a Fleshbot operative, we've also found what looks like Paulus' complete Big Muscle profile: "Jonahcruise" says that he "served just shy of 12 years in the Army where I was an Airborne Ranger and Green Beret." So what's a guy like this doing with Clay Aiken? Apparently, it has something to do with Clay's million-dollar ... smile. "An intelligent guy with a killer smile captivates me everytime."
