The waning days of the year bring many things: inflated champagne prices, midwestern tourists packing Times Square, and recycled "Best Of ... " meta-lists from all your favorite media outlets. 10. Ralph Woods
There's a lot to love about twinkalicious Falcon newbie Ralph Woods: that adorable Québécois accent, the perfect Colgate smile, his legal marriage to fellow Canadian porn studlet Pierre Fitch. And that isn't even mentioning the ten or so other reasons he has under his belt. Not that we're counting.

9. Patrick
Yes, we know we first clocked him last year, but 2005 was the year we witnessed Sean Cody discovery Patrick metamorphose from curly-haired ertswhile heterosexual to insatiable trophy bottom. But who really cares whether he's actually gay or straight? The boy can take it like a champ, and that's good enough for us.

8. Daniel Norell
Daniel Norell joins turbo-charged Volvos and fine teak furniture on the shortlist of superhot Swedish imports: the half-Trinidadian, half-Swedish Stockholm-based personal trainer and fitness model melted hearts all over the web this year (as well the bandwidth of physique sites such as Strengthnet and Athletic Star.) And let's not forget that he's also a part-time rescue worker—so you're definitely in good hands with this one.

7. Cole
Call us typical, but that whole dog tag/tattoo/crew cut thing really yanks our chains ... which is why we spent much of our, er, private time in 2005 enjoying every megapixel of ActiveDuty.com's Cole, who gives as good as he gets in titles like Army of Lovers and Toy Soldier", and whose solo turns deserve a medal of honor in their own right.

6. Hunter James and Damon DeMarco
Even if including our favorite porn star couple-slash-blogging superstars together in one entry bumps this list up to eleven, we sort of had no choice but to have up-and-coming dreamboats Damon DeMarco and Hunter James share the same spot: after all, with two guys this smart, funny, and adorably sexy, there was no way we could possibly choose one over the other. Who says true love and hot smut don't mix?

5. Brian Pumper
If there were ever a case of a straight porn star being too hot for his chosen genre, Brian Pumper would definitely qualify. The short n' thick studlet has a decent reputation with the ladies, but much of his fan base consists of gay men ... and why not? He's one of the few porn studs on the other side who doesn't seem to mind throwing his legs in the air for rim jobs and light ass-play, and we know we're not the only ones who fantasize about the day he changes his alias to from Brian Pumper ... to Pumphim. (Ed. note: Thanks folks, we're here all week!)

4. Gus Mattox
2005 saw Gus Mattox flex his acting chops (among other things) with a star turn in Lucas Entertainment's "Dangerous Liasons" and marked his directorial debut in Falcon's "Man Made". All that, and he's just as handy with powertools as he is on a typewriter. We said it before and we'll say it again: what's not to swoon over?

3. Mark Williams
We've had our eye on Dallas-based Mark Williams for some time now and are glad to see that COLT and Falcon have (finally) discovered his talents as well. Even if we're still not entirely sure the proper way to spell his first name, there's no denying that he's one stunning specimen of man. And we have even more reason to have him help us ring in the new year: Mar(c/k)'s first on-cam bottom scene is now on view at Blackmen.net. Yes, Virginia, there is a Santa Claus!

2. Remy Delaine
After his appearances in Pistol Media s Young Bucks" and "Escape from Sydney", Raging Stallion recognized a good thing when they saw it and quickly signed New Caledonian native Remy Delaine to a contract—and before the ink was even dry on his model releases named him their 2005 Man of the Year. With mainstream model-worthy looks and more than impressive talent where it counts, we look forward to crushing on him long into 2006 ... and beyond.

1. Owen Hawk
Okay, so we're nothing if not transparent in our crush objects here at Fleshbot ... but honestly, was there a porn star who worked as hard this year—or looked as good doing it—as Owen Hawk? Unzipped didn't call 2005 The Year of the Hawk way back last January for nothing: it seems like Owen was everywhere the past twelve months, most notably in the smokin' titles from his own production company, Dark Alley Media. (We've watched that final gangbang scene in "Unleashed" so many times that we've almost memorized his performance grunt-for-grunt.) Call us obsessed if you want to; we just like to think of it as admiring a solid work ethic when we see one.
