Which is all part of the author's intention—as Poulson-Bryant says, "The title came to me before the book did. I loved the idea of black men historically and stereotypically being considered well hung." In the book, Poulson-Bryant relates his own experiences as a black man in America, interweaving his sexual history with both men and women and witty analyses of how black male sexuality is expressed in books, film, television, sports, and porn.
