Towleroad highlights a bizarre photo spread in November's upcoming W Magazine. Photographer Steven Klein shoots Tom Ford, the fashion designer who reinterpreted the Gucci label, with a set of identifcal model bots. Ford buffs the buttocks of one prone model; in another shot, he checks a line-up of shirtless torsos for stray armpit hair; in one image, he's naked on a bed between two fembots. The spread appears to be an ironic commentary on Ford's one-man campaign against waxing. The most intriguing picture, which seems to have previously escaped notice: a booted Ford, arms pinned down by a model in speedos, while two others look on. It looks like a screencap from a wrestling porn movie, with the values of a Lucas Entertainment production. Not so much Tom of Finland as Tom of Ford.-ND
