If you're in New York City, you might want to go see artist Mark Chamberlain's "Gay Batman" series while you still can: lawyers for DC Comics, creators of the legendary superhero, served Chamberlain's New York art dealer with a cease & desist notice (which seem to be going around this week). Besides the alleged copyright infringement, the folks at DC were none too pleased with the warm pastel watercolors that depicted Batman and the Boy wonder kissing, locked in an embrace, and (our favorite) showing off their privates and bulging shorts.
